2008 METAL PICK-UP and BULK RUBBISH COLLECTION: |
In conjunction with the Town, County Waste has scheduled a Metal and Bulk Rubbish Pick-up for May 12 - May 16 for all town residents. All items must be at curbside by May 11 or they will NOT be picked up. There will be one Pick-up only per area and no return trips to that area after the initial Pick-up. Metal and Non-metal items must be in separate piles. Tree stumps, limbs, branches, tires, paints, stains, sealers, solvents, chemicals, wet or dry, propane tanks, loose trash or rubbish, motor oils or fuels and construction debris will NOT be picked up.

2008 LEAF, & BRUSH PICK-UP: |
Trucks will be available May 1 through May 30, 2008 for leaves and brush only. The Highway Dept. will begin taking truck reservations April 28 which will be on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event a truck becomes unavailable due to mechanical failure, the last reservation made will be the first cancelled. Please call the Highway Dept. at 885-8502 Ext.#23.

County Waste Haulers will pick up leaves and brush for Town residents on the regularly scheduled garbage pick-up day. Leaves must be in biodegradable brown paper bags and brush must be cut in 4 ft. lengths and bundled. |

Our Town in Bloom program is sponsored by the BHBL Rotary. Funding for this program comes from donations by residents and businesses. All labor is volunteer and watering is provided by the Town of Ballston. If you have an hour and would like to help with keeping the gardens lovely, we meet at the Town of Ballston library at 9 AM on Fridays (tidy Friday) between July 4th and labor day.
