| Meter reading cards will be mailed out on February 1st and August 1st and are due back in ten (10) days. | |

| Bills will be mailed out on March 1st and September 1st, they are due back April 1st and October 1st. | |
| A 10% penalty will be added to all bills not received by the above due dates. | |
| All unpaid bills including penalties are relevied on your property taxes as of November 1st. | |
| Water bills may be paid at the Water Department during normal business hours or by mailing to the Water Department. The Water Department also has a mail slot in its door for the payment of water bills after normal business hours. | |
| The homeowner is responsible for the line from the curb box to the house and in the house. | |
| The Town is only responsible for the line from the main to the curb box. |
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The Town needs to take 20 water samples for requirements that need to be met by the Department of Health for testing lead and copper. These samples must be taken from residents who live in Water District 2 between June and completed by September, 2008. Any one interested can come in and get a test bottle with directions for taking the sample. The sample will need to be returned to the Water Department at Town Hall. Please call the Water Department if you cannot return the sample, and we will pick it up. Thank you for your participation. | |

Water Restrictions : As of May 1st, for all Water Districts, lawn sprinkling and garden watering will be permitted on an odd/even street number basis between 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Properties with street addresses ending in odd numbers may water on odd days of the month, and even numbered properties on even days of the month. | |
